Overview
From MDN Productions
The first night reception is the official kick-off to a three-day conference. Since this year’s event was hosted in Arizona and many of the attendees are from rural America, our client chose a Route 66 theme to celebrate the open road, one of America’s favorite past times and to signify the substaintial progress our client has made and continues to make as an industry leader. The event included live music, activities such as climbing walls, mechanical surf boards, caricature artists, a braid and tattoo bar (in an Airstream), vintage VW bus photo booths, and foods stations inspired by the various locations along Route 66; from Chicago’s deep dish pizza, to Arizona’s iconic diners. The event included themed elements such as the “Dish” Trading Post Bar, classic teepees with tarot card readers and fortune tellers. It also included activations such as the diner façade with make your own sundae, an interactive donut wall and a die-cut of a life sized 1960’s Cadillac that attendees were able to graffiti using paint pens in front of a Cadillac Ranch backdrop. The result was a successful, high-octane event that built enthusiasm for the three-day conference ahead. Attendees felt valued, appreciated, and enthusiastic about the company and its mission. It gave guests the opportunity to network with colleagues in a fun, celebratory environment.
