King County Library System Foundation

The King County Library System Foundation hired GFS Events as a project manager to oversee the logistical aspects of their Virtual Literary Lions’ Gala. We helped produce an exclusive, VIP Reception for the Literary Lions’ Gala on an online platform followed by a livestream event. The GFS team oversaw VIP gift bag coordination and delivery, handled communication with the 30 + Authors that were in attendance at the VIP event, managed sponsorship outreach, and supervised all aspects of the Greater Giving platform. GFS also worked alongside the livestream vendor to help create a seamless online event. Leading up to the virtual fundraiser, GFS Events assisted with video production and pre-pledge coordination. This spectacular live stream brought together book lovers from across the U.S. to hear from Melinda Gates, two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Colson Whitehead, and the amazing staff at the King County Library System Foundation (KCLSF). KCLSF raised $520,000, 104% of their goal!
