Women's Economic Empowerment

The Phoenix planned and executed Women Economic Imperative’s (WEI) international conference, Opportunities and Challenges for Equity, Inclusive Growth, and Sustainability in Edinburgh, Scotland from November 24-26, 2019. At the conference, The Phoenix unveiled WEI’s new visual identity on branded elements throughout the event space, original content and social media including live streaming, “real-time” surveys, and participation across several platforms. The conference convened over 100 international speakers, thought leaders and changemakers as well as participants from different regions of the world representing civil society, academia, private sector and public sector. The 3-day event was hosted at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Business School. Main sponsors included RBS, Mastercard and Standard Life Aberdeen. Additional sponsors from numerous financial and educational institutions from Europe, Asia and the United States participated in the event.
