“The Asian Representation in Entertainment” was a community-oriented, elegant, three-hour event, hosted at Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia on May 5th , that offered the chance for guests to connect with the casts and creative talents within the entertainment industry. This joyful event comes as we celebrate AAPI Heritage Month and support the Asian community. The event featured incredible insightful panelists including actress Tania Gundai, VP of Brand Partnerships at Universal Music Group Chelsea Cloud, and Director & Screenwriter Tony Shyu. The night also featured a beautiful keynote speech from John Chiang, California’s 33rd State Treasurer, discussing Pan-Asian Empowerment, and a special performance from Malea Emma, singer and actress best known for her roles on A24's feature film After Yang and Disney Channel.
