Voting is the most sacrosanct act for a functioning democracy but is, unfortunately, something that many in our country neither take seriously nor regularly participate in. College students are at the beginning of their long journey into adulthood and are at the point in their lives when they can begin to build healthy habits and good routines for the rest of their lives. College students are also at the age when they can begin to participate in casting their votes to determine the direction of this country, so Planned Parenthood asked RMNG to help them entice students at Lincoln University to participate in the 2022 midterm elections. With a Planned Parenthood-branded food truck set up in the Lincoln quad, the activation team interacted with over 1,000 guests in 5 ½ hours, handing out 500 cupcakes, delivering Planned Parenthood messaging, interacting with pedestrians, and providing QR codes to engage these potential new voters. “Freedom is never more than 1 generation away from extinction,” President Regan told us, and so it’s on us to keep the fires of democracy burning in the minds of our youth.
