Exactly 20 years ago the founders of Polaris Dance Theatre crafted the mission that “Through Dance We Awaken the Heart and Enhance our Humanity”. In the last 2 decades, we have done just that through our community dance festivals, our classes for EveryBody, our All Access program for disabilities, our career track youth training, our company performances, our scholarship offerings, our senior program, our vibrantly skilled teaching artists, and our core belief that all people should have the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the art of dance regardless of age, gender, socioeconomic status, race or otherwise.
