Ippodromo delle Capannelle

The Capannelle Recourse is Rock in Roma's “home” since 2009. The edition held in the year 2013 introduced a new unedited version of the festival, all potential shown in its previous editions gathered together reaching its highest expression. The area used for the festival inside the hippodrome increased vastly and a completely new arena was created and launched as a white stage, capable to welcome up to 45.000 people. This represented a significant upgrade. Concert areas were several and differently branded. in the year 2014, a new arena (capacity from 3000 to 30.000 people) was the base for innovative experimentation. 2016 was the year of an additional charge. The 2 stages (stage a: capacity from 14.000 to 30.000 people, stage b: capacity of 3.500 people) have permitted the birth and the development of an authentic festival into the festival: #theitalianway: an independent and experimental project where more representative Italian artists were the protagonists.
