Since March 2000 in St. Germain des Paris, the center of culture on the left bank, we have been demonstrating the true taste of Japanese soba noodles to the French public.
We import our buckwheat from a wide selection of producers in Japan choosing only the finest to use our noodles. The grains are ground daily using our very own traditional stone mill, located beneath the restaurant. The soba we serve is produced in-house using traditional techniques by specially skilled members of the kitchen, all on show to the public. Apart from soba, we also serve a wide variety of Japanese cuisine using fresh French ingredients, locally sourced where available. Our extensive wine list has been specially created to accompany and compliment Japanese cuisine, including a large selection from the Bordeaux and Burgundy regions.
